Meet The Team
John Tate came into real estate after more than three decades of successful sales and leadership experience with corporations on the national, regional, and local levels. His professionalism and unique ability to connect with people, along with his great attitude, and work-ethic resulted in many awards and accomplishments along the way. John was an invaluable asset to the companies he worked with because of his bottom-line commitment to serve the needs of his customers. These qualities have taken John far since he entered real estate at the suggestion of his sister in 2004.
John is an avid reader, a student of history, and a collector of historical memorabilia. When John is not serving his clients and family, he likes to relax with a good book, or an exciting football game. John and his wife enjoy spending time with their grown sons, their wives, and beautiful grandchildren at every opportunity.
Family is important to John, not just his own, but the families of those he serves as clients, and those he works with. This value shines through on every level of his interactions, and in the work he does with clients in reaching the best real estate solutions for them and those they hold dear.
When changes in the economy created challenges with the real estate market that forced many brokers out of business, John rolled up his sleeves and has not only persevered, but thrived. His can-do attitude and willingness to research and find solutions to his clients' problems has transformed him into one of the leading experts and achievers in real estate. Not only do clients seek his guidance, but also his fellow REALTORS®. This level of success is evidenced not just by the Chairman's Circle Gold award, putting John in the top 2% of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents nationwide, but in the repeat business and recommendations that have come from grateful and satisfied clients.
